In an article titled "New Momentum for Cambodia-Vietnam Relations," AKP covered the meeting between General Secretary Lam and President of the Cambodian People's Party Samdech Techo Hun Sen, who said the relationship between the two Parties guides the Vietnam-Cambodia relationship.

A meeting between the Politburo of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Standing Board of the Central Committee of the Cambodian People's Party was of great significance, creating a solid political foundation, guiding relations, and resolving a number of specific issues between the two countries, AKP said.

The article noted that both sides pledged to strengthen investment, trade, and tourism promotion and strive to increase bilateral trade to 20 billion USD in the near future.

Cambodia and Vietnam agreed to closely coordinate and support each other in regional and global forums, particularly within ASEAN and the Mekong Subregion cooperation framework, according to AKP.
