With a score of 94.41 points out of 100, Phu Quoc, the only representative of Vietnam, ranked second after the Maldives.

Describing Phu Quoc as an emerging tourism destination, the magazine said this is the island’s greatest strength. While several beaches in Southeast Asia are developed, Phu Quoc has aced out with an understated tranquility. But it does not mean that visitors can’t stay in luxe accommodations with rooftop infinity pools, and suites with private pools.

One of them is Regent Phu Quoc, which has a rooftop infinity pool, or New World Phu Quoc is listed in the top four best resorts in Southeast Asia and top 100 in the world in 2024.

The “25 world’s best islands” is a category of the annual World's Best Awards to evaluate excellent services in tourism and a handbook for tourists to find destinations with good services.
