PM attends the 81st National Police Conference

(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended the 81st national public security conference in Hanoi on Monday to assess the police performance in 2025.

Participants reviewed the fight against corruption, waste, and negative practices; disseminated the Politburo’s two new regulations on intelligence; and summarized the "For National Security" emulation movement in 2025; and launched the emulation movement for 2026 within the People's Police force.

At the conference, Prime Minister Chinh said that in the cause of protecting national security, social order and safety, police officers and soldiers have bravely fought and are ready to sacrifice themselves for the people’s peace and happiness.

Looking ahead, the Prime Minister requested that the police force focus on ensuring absolute security and safety for the 14th National Party Congress, the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and to the People's Councils for the 2026-2031 term.

He urged for greater efforts to detect and address risks of cyberattacks, information leaks, distortion, incitement, and sabotage, while promoting positive communication and providing accurate and timely information to guide public opinion.
