Vietnamese passport rises 2 spots in global ranking
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam’s passport has moved up to 90th place in the Henley Passport Index’s December update, climbing two positions from the ranking released in October.

Vietnamese citizens are now able to access 50 destinations visa-free or with simplified entry requirements such as an e-visa, visa on arrival, or an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA), out of a total of 199 countries and territories.
Most destinations that Vietnamese citizens can enter without a visa or with only an e-visa or visa on arrival are ASEAN countries, including Thailand, Singapore, Myanmar, and Malaysia, along with island nations including Cape Verde, the Comoros, the Cook Islands, and the Maldives.
