(VOVWORLD) -Departing from France, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, his wife and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation arrived at Arlanda International Airport in Stockholm on Wednesday evening, beginning an official visit to Sweden.

The two-day visit is being made at the invitation of Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson.
This is the first visit of a Vietnamese Prime Minister to Sweden in six years, aiming to further deepen the relationship with Sweden, one of Europe’s major countries.
During his stay, Prime Minister Chinh is expected to hold talks and meet with representatives of the Royal Family, the Prime Minister, and the Parliament Speaker of Sweden; visit close Swedish friends of Vietnam; chair the Economic Forum and work with big Swedish corporations; visit and deliver policy speeches at Sweden's leading universities.
