The Prime Minister commended the timely completion of the legal institutions on currency and banking activities with breakthroughs. Monetary policy continues to be managed proactively, flexibly, promptly, effectively, harmoniously, and closely with fiscal policy and other macroeconomic policies. The implementation of streamlining the apparatus has ensured smooth, continuous, safe and effective operations, without affecting credit institutions, people and businesses.
To achieve the two 100-year strategic goals by 2030 and 2045, the Party Central Committee and the Politburo have set a target of continuous double-digit growth, which the PM said is an extremely difficult goal but it is not impossible.
This requires the banking sector to continue promoting emulation movements to successfully carry out assigned political tasks, PM Chinh said, adding that the banking system must accompany the country, the people, and businesses; be flexible in management, in handling, and in banking activities with the spirit of serving the people to make the country stable and the people prosperous and happy.
