At the same time, it is essential to build an inclusive and humane digital society that improves the quality of life, ensures equal access to services, narrows development gaps, and promotes cultural identity in the digital environment, he noted.

Speaking at the 3rd National Forum on Digital Economy and Digital Society Development in Hanoi on Saturday, the Prime Minister stressed the guiding principle that “the digital economy is the driving force, the digital society is the foundation, and people are at the center.”

He suggested establishing special mechanisms to make Vietnam a cradle for innovative startups and new technology development.

“We must step up the ‘Digital Literacy for All’ movement to bring digital transformation to every alley, every household, and every individual,” he said, adding that developing digital programs and skills for all citizens and businesses is essential.
