Supporting volunteer youths to participate in disadvantaged areas – Photo: Internet

The Government leader has asked ministries, sectors and localities to support the Communist Youth Union to accelerate volunteer activities, particularly environment protection and climate change adaptation. The Union was also urged to dispatch young intellectuals to disadvantaged areas to help poor families and engage in building new rural areas. Every year the Union organizes a “Green Summer Campaign” to encourage its members to participate in social welfare activities to improve the awareness, self-confidence, and creativity of youth.
