(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on Saturday met with ambassadors and heads of Vietnam's representative offices abroad before they take on their new assignments.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister emphasized that diplomatic efforts must align with Vietnam's external relations guidelines while maintaining a high degree of flexibility, showcasing Vietnamese culture and values, sincerity, trust, openness, and mutual respect, serving the nation and mutual interests.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh highlighted the role of ambassadors and agency heads as they are tasked with fostering unity and consensus within Vietnamese embassies and representative agencies overseas.

He also called on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, relevant ministries and sectors, to continue improving policies and providing the best possible facilities to enable Vietnamese embassies and representative agencies to effectively advance the Party and State’s foreign policy, contributing to a new era of national prosperity and strength.
