Speaking at the meeting, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that the overseas Vietnamese community is an inseparable part of the nation, saying it is the key principle in Vietnam’s national development.
He said: "Even if there is only one Vietnamese abroad, the Party and State will find all appropriate and effective ways to care for and support them in order to enable them to live, work, do business, and contribute to the friendship between Vietnam and host countries, and also contribute to their families, communities, and themselves. Our consistent policy is to leave no one behind in the development process."

The Prime Minister expressed his hope that the Embassy would continue to perform its duties effectively, particularly in adapting to the digital environment, promoting the establishment of an Honorary Consulate, and strengthening connections between digital government, digital society, and digital citizens.
He also encouraged the Vietnamese community in Estonia to remain united, support one another, and work together to develop the Vietnamese community. The Prime Minister asked the Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs and the Embassy to enhance economic, cultural, and people-to-people ties, facilitating the export of Vietnamese goods, expanding the presence of domestic products, and advocating for more favorable work visa and travel policies for the overseas Vietnamese community.
Earlier the same morning, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his wife paid a visit to the family of Mr. Nguyen Viet Thang, owner of Pho Bar, a well-known Vietnamese restaurant in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia.
