(VOVworld) - The Vietnamese government always encourages and provides favorable conditions for its enterprises to boost their business in Myanmar. Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung told Kyaw Kyaw Maung, Governor of Myanmar’s central Bank, in Hanoi on Thursday.

Mr. Dung said that although Vietnam ranks 8
th on direct investment in to Myanmar and bilateral trade has been increasing year on year, they still have great potential for larger trade and investment cooperation. He asked Myanmar to license the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV), allowing it to open a branch in Myanmar to facilitate Vietnamese enterprises.
