PM Pham Minh Chinh concludes working trip to Saudi Arabia

(VOVWORLD) - PM Pham Minh Chinh arrived in Hanoi on Saturday, successfully concluding his working trip to attend the ASEAN-Gulf Cooperation Council Summit and his visit to Saudi Arabia from Wednesday to Friday at the invitation of Saudi Arabian King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

During the two-day trip, Prime Minister Chinh had more than 20 bilateral and multilateral activities. He attended and delivered an important speech at the ASEAN-GCC Summit and held bilateral meetings with the Prime Ministers of Laos and Cambodia, the Presidents of Indonesia, Singapore, and the United Arab Emirates and Emir of Qatar. The Vietnamese Prime Minister also conducted several activities to boost Vietnam’s multifaceted cooperation with Saudi Arabia.

Speaking at the ASEAN-GCC Summit, the Prime Minister urged the two blocs to take more resolute actions to create breakthroughs for bilateral cooperation in the coming time. He said focus should be given to economic, trade, and investment ties, tourism, culture, education, and people-to-people exchanges and strengthening strategic infrastructure to boost ASEAN-GCC cooperation for peace, stability, and prosperity of the two regions and the world.
