PM pushes for leaner, more effective administrative apparatus
(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh urged a streamlined, effective, and efficient governance system with improved quality of State employees as the Government moves forward with its apparatus overhaul.

At Sunday’s meeting of the Government’s steering committee set up to review the implementation of the Party Central Committee’s Resolution 18 on political system restructuring, PM Chinh stressed the importance of reducing intermediaries and eliminating overlaps within the administrative apparatus.
It is essential to craft invective policies to encourage officials to work at the grassroots level, he noted.
The Government’s plan includes reducing the number of administrative bodies from 30 to 21.
