The Prime Minister stressed that the Party and the State have consistently paid close attention to startups, innovation, and national digital transformation, issuing numerous guidelines, mechanisms, and policies to support their development.

He noted that the Politburo has promulgated a series of strategic resolutions across multiple fields, including Resolutions No. 57, 59, 66, 68, 70, 71, and 72, identifying science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation as key breakthroughs.

PM Chinh highlighted several breakthrough tasks, including accelerating digital transformation to ensure all administrative procedures move online and deploying virtual assistants across state agencies and units.

He emphasized the need for credit guarantee mechanisms and specialized lending for innovative startup projects, as well as the establishment of a dedicated stock exchange for innovative startups.

The PM requested that the Ministry of Science and Technology submit the National Strategy on Innovative Startups within this month.

He called on research institutes, universities, science and technology organizations, and enterprises to promote startup education from general to postgraduate levels; develop in-depth training in STEM, innovation, and technology management; and build open laboratories, creative spaces, and centers to support the commercialization of research outcomes.

TechFest, he said, should further elevate itself to regional and international levels, becoming a platform to attract global resources, investment funds, experts, and technology corporations.

The largest edition to date, TechFest Vietnam 2025 is being held from Friday to Sunday and has attracted over 20 corporations, 50 investment funds, more than 100 supporting organizations and incubators, and delegates from Asia, North America, and Europe.
