Politburo members agreed to seek the Party Central Committee's approval of the investment policy before the Government presents it to the National Assembly’s upcoming year-end session.

The high-speed railway is expected to foster regional and inter-regional connectivity, generate economic spillover effects and open up new economic development spaces. It will help restructure urban areas and economic sectors, thereby enhancing the economy's competitiveness.
