(VOVworld) – President Truong Tan Sang and other National Assembly deputies continued to meet Ho Chi Minh City’s voters on Friday.

President Sang acknowledged contributions by municipal voters and expressed his hope that they will continue to offer more opinions to the development of the local administration through selecting competent candidates to the National Assembly. President Sang also encouraged local voters to help the city’s NA deputies fulfill their tasks.

On Friday, President Truong Tan Sang attended a meeting between National Assembly deputies and enterprises in Ho Chi Minh city. The enterprises discussed and proposed a number of development measures in the context of the integration process, especially as a number of Free Trade Agreements begin to take effect. President Sang said the integration policy is consistent but must be based on self-reliance. He urged the need to consider opportunities and challenges for Vietnam’s successful integration. Mr. Sang asked enterprises and professional associations to work out measures and provide policy consultations to facilitate development and competiveness of domestic enterprises.
