(VOVworld) – President Truong Tan Sang worked with Thai Nguyen province authorities on Monday on local socio-economic development, and national security and defense. President Sang visited several enterprises in the Song Cong industrial park. According to Duong Ngoc Long, Chairman of Thai Nguyen provincial People’s Committee, the province’s growth rate in the first half of 2013 stood at 5.3%, while policies on social welfare, poverty reduction, vocational training and national target programs have been implemented comprehensively.

President Sang called on Thai Nguyen to reform its investment climate, identify its advantages and build new rural areas. He urged for the more efforts to build a stronger and cleaner party in line with 4^th plenum resolution of the Party Central Committee, so as develop Thai Nguyen into an industrialized and modernized province.
