(VOVworld) - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc left Hanoi Monday morning for a five-day official visit to Russia and to attend the Commemorative Summit to mark the 20th anniversary of the ASEAN-Russia dialogue relationship.

The government leader’s Russia visit takes place in the context that the Vietnam-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership continues strong development in numerous fields such as politics, economics, defense security, science, and technology, education, training and culture.

After the visit to Russia, Prime Minister Phuc will attend a Commemorative Summit to mark the 20th anniversary of the ASEAN-Russia dialogue relationship. The summit highlights the increasingly important position of ASEAN and Vietnam’s contributions.
