Prime Minister meets voters in Can Tho city
(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on Saturday met voters in Can Tho city ahead the National Assembly’s third session.

Answering voters’ questions, the Prime Minister said that Vietnam is aiming at a quick and sustainable economic recovery. He emphasized preventive medicine, basic health care, drugs, vaccines, and social security with the motto of leaving no one behind. He also told voters about reduction of telecommunications and electricity bills, extension of land rent exemption and reduction, and investment in infrastructure.
For Can Tho, the Government proposed eight groups of solutions, Prime Minister Chinh said, suggesting that Can Tho city continue to control the pandemic well; develop infrastructure, especially traffic and social infrastructure; complete inter-regional transport projects, study railway routes connecting Can Tho with Ho Chi Minh City and Ca Mau; and develop the ring road to the west of the city.
The PM asked Can Tho to develop training centers and research institutes, create centers such as universities of medicine and pharmacy, vocational and technology colleges; implement the administrative area project; effectively mobilize and use investment resources; and attract investors to key projects of the city.
