(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his wife, accompanied by a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation, left Tallinn on Saturday, officially concluding their visit to the Republic of Estonia at the invitation of Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Michal.

During the three-day visit, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh held talks with Prime Minister Kristen Michal. The Estonian leader expressed a strong desire to strengthen cooperation across all fields with Vietnam and affirmed Estonia’s readiness to support Vietnam in its digital transformation, innovation, and to expand cooperation in science and technology, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and education and training.
The two leaders underscored the importance of mutual support and collaboration for shared development, emphasizing the need to further deepen the traditional friendship and multifaceted partnership between the two countries.

The two sides signed several memoranda of understanding including an MoU on cooperation in digital transformation and the digital economy. Estonia, widely recognized as a pioneer in digital governance, has promoted digital transformation to improve the quality of life for its citizens, drive economic growth, and create jobs. Estonia has also shared its digital development experience with over 150 nations, contributing to global initiatives in digital solutions, green technology, and innovative startups.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh expressed his hope that following the signing of cooperation agreements in science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation, Estonia will send expert delegations to Vietnam to provide support, share experiences, and help accelerate Vietnam’s digital development.
During his stay, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh also met with the Speaker of the Estonian Parliament, attended the Vietnam–Estonia Business Forum, and visited the Old Town of Tallinn, the Port of Tallinn (Sadam), the e-Estonia Center, a symbol of world-leading digital governance , and the Arvo Pärt Center, an important cultural landmark of Estonia.
