Provincial leaders extend Christmas greetings to Catholics

(VOVWORLD) -On Monday leaders of Bac Ninh, Quang Binh, and Vinh Long province visited and congratulated Catholic priests, pastors, nuns, and followers on the occasion of Christmas 2024 and New Year 2025.

Visiting the Bac Ninh city Diocese, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Nguyen Anh Tuan said he hopes the bishop, priests, and nuns will continue to encourage parishioners to live a good life, practice their religious beliefs in accordance with the law, join other people in patriotic emulation movements, and contribute to local socio-economic development.

Bishop Joseph  Do Quang Khang said he will continue to encourage Catholics to strictly follow Party guidelines and State policies and laws and fulfill their duty as citizens to develop Bac Ninh and build a stronger national solidarity.

At Minh Tu parish in Chau Hoa commune, Quang Binh province, provincial Party Secretary Le Ngoc Quang said he hopes the Catholics and other religious followers will unite to implement Party guidelines and State policies and laws, live a good life, and contribute to local socio-economic development.

Congratulating the Vinh Long diocese and the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (South), Secretary of the Vinh Long provincial Party Committee Bui Van Nghiem said Catholics and Protestants have greatly contributed to local achievements.

According to the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Vinh Long province, Catholics and Protestants have participated in patriotic emulation movements launched by the Front and local socio-political organizations at all levels and in local production activities, thus contributing to the socio-economic stability of Vinh Long.
