Christmas atmosphere across Vietnam

(VOVWORLD) - Hanoi came alive on Tuesday with festive Christmas decorations. Many streets, especially those near churches, sparkled with colorful lights, drawing crowds eager to celebrate and capture memorable moments.

Major shopping centers in the city were also popular destinations for families and friends seeking to enjoy the holiday spirit.

In Da Nang City, the Department of Tourism hosted the “Happy with Santa Claus” program as part of the Christmas Festival - New Year's Eve Da Nang 2025. The event featured the distribution of 3,000 souvenir gifts to locals and visitors.

Nguyen Thi Trang from Da Nang said: “This is the first time the city has organized such an activity. It’s very engaging and attracts many tourists. The children, in particular, are thrilled to participate, making their holiday experience even more special.”

Meanwhile, in Ho Chi Minh City, the streets buzzed with festive energy as thousands flocked to entertainment venues. On Le Loi Street, a DJ music event combined with dazzling LED lights captivated attendees.

Trinh Quoc Duc from Tan Binh District said: “Spending Christmas Eve in HCMC fills me with joy and a sense of harmony. At my age, seeing my children and grandchildren having fun brings me great happiness.”

At the iconic Notre Dame Cathedral in HCMC, many gathered to take memorable photos, cherishing the festive atmosphere.
