He said Russia needs to support and strengthen the positive trends in its economy, increase its efficiency, and ensure technological, personnel, and financial sovereignty. He said: "The government needs to act quickly and without unnecessary bureaucracy and delays because illegitimate restrictions in the medium term can really have a negative impact. In this regard, we need to ensure a sustainable increase in domestic demand."

President Putin urged the ministers to increase the efficiency of the economy and support projects aimed at Russia’s technological and infrastructure development.

On Wednesday, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine recognized the success of the Russian army in Artemivsk (called Bakhmut in Ukraine). Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky earlier told AP that unless Ukraine wins a drawn-out battle in a key eastern city, Russia could begin building international support for a deal that could require Ukraine to make unacceptable compromises.
