Addressing the UN Human Rights Council session in Geneva, he said Doha is willing to talk to other Gulf countries in line with international law and with respect for the sovereignty of each country. He said the blockade by neighbouring Gulf countries violates international law, adding that Qatar rejects and condemns terrorism in all its forms, whatever the cause or motive.

The Gulf crisis broke out on June 5 when Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt, and the United Arab Emirates cut their diplomatic ties with Qatar, accusing Doha of supporting terrorism and causing instability in the Middle East.
