The campaign will be implemented in all localities across Quang Ninh for two months starting from January 15 to ensure a safe and stable blood supply for emergency treatment and medical care during the Lunar New Year and the first months of 2026. This is an activity of profound humanitarian significance, spreading the spirit of sharing and responsibility toward the community.

“I have encouraged six members and volunteers to take part in blood donation. Every drop of blood given means a life saved. We are ready to help those who lack blood, especially people in difficult circumstances, and particularly critical cases caused by accidents or illness,” a blood donor said.  

“The blood we donate can help save many people, so I donate as a way to contribute, even a small part, to making life and society better,” another blood donor said. 

Last year, Quang Ninh organized 113 voluntary blood donation drives and collected nearly 23,550 units of blood.

Ly Van Thanh, Chairman of the Quang Ninh Red Cross Society, said he hopes the campaign will gain stronger support from the community so that blood donation truly becomes a movement embodying noble humanitarian values and a cultural hallmark of the people of Quang Ninh province.”
