(VOVworld) - Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir on Saturday said that the kingdom plans to appoint a new ambassador to Iraq.

The announcement was made at Al-Jubeir’s talks with Iraqi top officials in Baghdad. Iraq last year asked Saudi Arabia to replace its ambassador, Thamer al-Sabhan, after his comments about Iranian involvement in Iraqi affairs.
