(VOVworld)-A seminar on East Sea issues themed “history, military, economics and the media in the East Sea” opened at the Vietnamese Cultural Centre in Paris, to provide  historical and scientific evidence of Vietnam’s uncontroverted sovereignty over the Truong Sa (Spratly) and Hoang Sa (Paracel) archipelagoes. Many reports at the seminar were overviews of politics, economics, and the importance of the East Sea region, its potential and role. Seminar participants expressed concern over the growing tensions in the East Sea. Many delegates said that what needs to be done immediately to fight false propaganda about the archipelagoes, is to raise people’s awareness, and provide them with information about these disputes.
