Six new COVID-19 cases confirmed, bringing Vietnam’s total to 233

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam confirmed six new Covid-19 cases last night, raising its total to 233. The new cases include an employee of the Truong Sinh company, which provides catering services to Hanoi’s Bach Mai hospital, and 5 Vietnamese citizens returning from abroad. 

Late Thursday, 75 COVID-19 patients were declared virus-free and most of the remaining cases are in stable condition. Three patients are in serious condition at the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases. Approximately 73,000 people are under quarantine or being monitored, either at a hospital, a designated facility, or at home.
