Solutions within reach for US-EU aircraft, metals disputes
(VOVWORLD) - US trade chief Katherine Tai said Thursday that she believes solutions to trade disputes with the EU on aircraft subsidies and steel and aluminum tariffs "are within reach."

Tai told the US House of Representatives Ways and Means Committee that she is trying to resolve the 17-year Boeing-Airbus WTO dispute over subsidies within a four-month tariff truce due to expire this summer.
She said President Biden’s administration will work with the WTO and other countries to revise WTO regulations and procedures.
