South Korea, US announce joint exercise
(VOVWORLD) - South Korea and the US have agreed to hold joint drills in mid-August on a limited scale.
The exercises will be mainly in the form of computer simulations and the two sides will present related videos and documents.
The US and South Korea are expected to set the exercise date after Korean National Day on August 15. The exercises will test key areas of the coalition’s combat capability and prepare for the transfer of wartime command.
