Spanish Prime Minister pays official visit to Vietnam
(VOVWORLD) -Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez began an official visit to Vietnam on Tuesday at the invitation of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.

Sánchez is the first Spanish Prime Minister to visit Vietnam since the two countries established diplomatic relations in 1977. This marks the first time a high-ranking Spanish leader has visited Vietnam since the visit of King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia in 2006.
Sánchez's trip takes place just one year after the two countries celebrated the 15th anniversary of their Strategic Partnership in 2024 and anticipates the 50th anniversary of the establishment of their diplomatic relations in 2027.
