President Hassan asked the ambassador to convey her invitation for Party General Secretary and President To Lam to visit Tanzania soon to further strengthen the traditional bilateral friendship and cooperation, especially when the two countries will celebrate the 60th anniversary of their diplomatic ties next year.

She affirmed that Tanzania values the friendly and cooperative relationship with Vietnam and wishes to learn from experience and cooperate with Vietnam in strong fields such as agriculture, green economy, tourism, information and communications technology. 

At the meeting following the presentation of the Letter of Credentials, Ambassador Huyen said she would make every effort to expand and deepen friendship and multi-faceted cooperation as well as enhance mutual understanding and traditional friendship between the two countries. The ambassador expressed her hope to receive active support from the President and Government of Tanzania during her term of office.
