“Tet for Agent Orange/dioxin victims” campaign launched

(VOVWORLD) - The nationwide campaign “Warm Spring – Tet for Agent Orange Victims” has been launched by the Vietnam Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin, the National Humanitarian E-Portal (1400), and the MB Bank Charity Platform.

Donors can donate by transferring funds to MB bank account number 1961, which symbolizes the year of the Agent Orange disaster in Vietnam.

Major General Do Hong Lam, Vice President of the Vietnam Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin, said: “We commit that all donations will be used promptly and directly benefit the intended recipients. We aim to mobilize more resources to support AO victims to afford their medical examinations and treatment, rehabilitation, build an repair houses and provide them with production capital, and financial assistance, along with gifts for the Lunar New Year 2025.”

At the campaign’s launch ceremony, the volunteer group “Drinking Water, Remembering Its Source” donated 180 million VND (7,000 USD) to the fund.
