(VOVworld) – Thailand’s Foreign Ministry has canceled former premier Thaksin Shinawatra’s passport because he is deemed to have “endangered national security” in a recent interview.

In an interview with the press of the Republic of Korea, Thaksin said anti-government street protests had been orchestrated in the Thai capital and elsewhere in the country last year to pressure the Thai military to overthrow the Yingluck Shinawatra government.
