Tourists flock to Mekong Delta during Lunar New Year

(VOVWORLD) -Bac Lieu province welcomed 166,000 tourist arrivals, including 5,200 international arrivals in the past four days.

Tourists mainly visited Buddha temple Ba Nam Hai with 25,000 - 30,000 tourists per day, Tac Say church with 15,000 tourists per day, Hung Thien pagoda with 15,000 tourists per day.

In Can Tho city, tourists flocked to eco-tourism villages in Phong Dien district. Deputy director of My Khanh Ecological Tourism Company, Nguyen Hoang said his company received 10,000 arrivals in the first three days of the Lunar New Year, 4 to 5 times more than usual.

"We have dozens of entertainment services, including programs featuring animals, food festivals, traditional cake stalls, which attracted many tourists. We had 5,000 people coming on the fourth day of the Lunar New Year." he said
