(VOVWORLD) - The 2026 Tran Temple Festival opened on Sunday at the Special National Relic Site dedicated to the kings of the Tran Dynasty in Hung Yen province.

The 5-day festival is in two parts. The ceremonial part includes the presentation of ceremonial orations, incense offerings to the Tran Kings, palanquin processions by water and land, and other ritual activities.
The festive part features culture, arts, and sports events, exhibitions promoting Hung Yen tourism, and exchanges between Ca tru singing clubs from across the province.
Vietnam Poetry Day is observed within the framework of the festival.
