(VOVworld) - The Hanoi People’s Committee on Friday held a tree planting ceremony to mark the 40^th anniversary of the Paris Accords. This was in recognition of international friends for their support during the Vietnamese people’s struggle for independence and represented a message of friendship. Deputy Chairwoman of Hanoi’s Union of Friendship Association, Vu Thi Hai: “The trees will grow up and represent Vietnamese loyalty and unity with international friends. This is our gratitude to those people who helped Vietnam during the resistance war of national independence, construction and defense.”
