Two Vietnamese Airlines among Southeast Asia’s top 5 by seat capacity
(VOVWORLD) - Aviation website Aviation A2Z has released its list of the top 10 largest Southeast Asian airlines by one-way seat capacity for January 2025. Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet Air secured the 4th and 5th positions, respectively.

Vietnam Airlines, Vietnam's national carrier, operates as a full-service airline, offering more than 2.4 million seats. Known for its high-quality service and modern fleet, including Boeing 787 Dreamliners and Airbus A350s, the airline plays a crucial role in connecting Vietnam with global destinations.
Meanwhile, VietJet Air, Vietnam’s leading low-cost airline, has a seat capacity exceeding 2.1 million. The airline has built a strong reputation for its budget-friendly fares and extensive domestic network.
