US President leaves door open for meeting with North Korean leader
(VOVWORLD) -US President Donald Trump indicated on Sunday that he would be prepared to meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, but that it is not time to do so yet.
Speaking at the outset of a five-nation Asia tour dominated by the standoff over North Korea’s nuclear program, Trump declared himself happy to “sit down with anybody”. The 11-day trip, which began on the weekend, will bring him to Japan, South Korea, China, Vietnam and the Philippines.
