The launch from Alaska’s Kodiak Island is scheduled to occur at the Pacific Spaceport Complex. The US and South Korea agreed last July to deploy a THAAD system in North Gyeongsang province. 2 of 6 launch pads have already arrived there but the new South Korean government has decided to halt installation while it studies their impact on the environment.
