US, UK top diplomats commit continued support for Ukraine
(VOVWORLD) - US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and British Foreign Secretary David Lammy on Wednesday underscored their commitment to Ukraine in its conflict with Russia.

During tripartite talks with their Ukrainian counterpart in Kyiv, Blinken said the US and the UK renew their support for Ukraine. This is the fifth time Blinken has visited Kyiv since the Russia-Ukraine conflict broke out in early 2022.
Foreign Secretary Lammy said London will send an additional 781 million USD to Kyiv.
The rare joint trip came after Kyiv launched an attack on Russia's Kursk region and as President Volodymyr Zelensky ramps up his requests to the West to provide weapons with more firepower and fewer restrictions.
The International Monetary Fund said on Tuesday that it has reached a preliminary agreement to provide Ukraine 1.1 billion USD in financial assistance.
