(VOVworld)-Vice State President Nguyen Thi Doan on Saturday offered scholarships to nearly 1,500 disadvantaged children in a dozen of Mekong Dela provinces. The scholarships worth nearly 4.5 billion dong were granted in a ceremony in the southern province of Soc Trang. Many of the beneficiaries are children who made excellent school performance despite their family economic difficulties.
