The Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee and the National Council of the Solidarity Front for the Development of the Cambodian Motherland issued a joint communique at an international conference on building the Vietnam-Cambodia border of peace, friendship and cooperation for development in Ratanakiri province yesterday.

The event is part of activities of the Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Year to mark the 45th anniversary of the establishment of the two countries’ diplomatic ties. The joint communique said leaders of the two fronts presented a report on the implementation of cooperation agreements and contents of the joint communique signed between the two fronts and 10 Vietnamese and 10 Cambodian provinces at their conference in 2010 in Vietnam ’s southern province of Tay Ninh .
