(VOVworld)- President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan has urged the Alliance of Vietnamese Cooperatives to boost the development of collective economy in combination with national industrialization and modernization, and economic restructuring to develop Vietnam into an industrial country by 2020. Nhan was addressing the meeting to mark the 20th founding anniversary of the Alliance in Hanoi on Monday:“In the near future, the Cooperatives Alliance needs to introduce and replicate effective economic models. It is also necessary to strengthen the cooperation between the Alliance with Ministries and the government in designing policies to ensure that the alliance’s target programs receive funding during their implementation”.

Mr. Nhan asked the alliance to raise the capabilities of the consultants to assist collectives and collective members develop their economies.
