Taking place until Sunday, the festival features an exhibition showcasing cooperation achievements between Da Nang and its Japanese partners, and a children’s art exhibition featuring paintings from Japanese cities with established partnerships.
A key highlight is the nightly Vietnam–Japan cultural exchange performances.
Ms. P'loong Ven, an ethnic Co Tu resident, said: “This is my first time joining such a large festival. I'm very happy and honored to participate and exchange with Japanese friends. We’re presenting a traditional bamboo dance and hope visitors enjoy it and will visit our commune in Ben Giang, Da Nang in the future.”
As part of the festival, a conference titled “Meet Japan in Da Nang: Advancing the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Vietnam and Japan” will be held.
