(VNA) - Defence Minister General Phung Quang Thanh and New Zealand Ambassador Maike Manning have agreed on the need for more experience sharing with UN peace-keeping forces. They met on Wednesday to discuss preparations for Thanh’s upcoming visit to New Zealand. Thanh expressed his hope that the Ambassador will contribute to further strengthening bilateral ties and the two countries’ comprehensive cooperation in military and national defense. They discussed a number of other issues of mutual interest and agreed that the two countries have maintained fine relations, including military and national defense cooperation.
