The Vietnam Parliamentary Friendship Organization of the 13th National Assembly made its debut in Hanoi on Wednesday. NA Vice Chairwoman Tong Thi Phong was elected head of the Organization, which includes 46 parliamentary friendship groups.



In his address, NA Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung affirmed that the establishment of the Organization was a significant event, aimed at strengthening external relations with other countries: “The Vietnam Parliamentary Friendship Organization has served as an important channel to promote Vietnam ’s diplomacy. I hope that it will make practical contributions to promoting cooperation and friendship between legislative bodies of Vietnam and other countries.
