He said cooperation in locating MIA soldiers will continue to build trust and cooperation in other fields, such as politics, trade, health care, humanitarian aid, and addressing the legacy of the war in Vietnam.

Noah Zaring, Political Affairs Counselor at the US Embassy in Hanoi, thanked the Vietnamese Government and people for their support for MIA humanitarian activities, especially the continuation of these activities in a safe and effective manner despite the pandemic.

He said the US Government will continue to help Vietnam overcome the consequences of the war, and promote cooperation in other fields, including fighting COVID-19.
