Vietnam steadfast on its path of renewal, resilient amid challenges
(VOVWORLD) - A senior official of the Communist Party of Argentina has highlighted the particularly important role of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam in leading and directing Vietnam’s renewal and development over past decades, as Vietnam prepares to mark the 40th anniversary of the renewal process this year.

In an interview with the Vietnam News Agency, Marcelo Rodriguez, Head of the Commission for Foreign Affairs of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Argentina said that the material and spiritual life of the Vietnamese people has continued to improve, the leadership role of the Party has been strengthened, and Vietnam’s international standing and prestige have been enhanced.
He said Vietnam remains steadfast in pursuing a foreign policy of independence, self-reliance, multilateralization and diversification of international relations, and comprehensive and deep international integration. This approach has enhanced Vietnam’s role, position, and credibility in the international community, he noted.
Mr. Rodriguez said the Party and the State of Vietnam have demonstrated very strong political determination and implemented comprehensive measures to prevent, detect, and strictly handle corruption and negativity, with no forbidden zones and no exceptions.
