“Vietnam consistently supports comprehensive, inclusive, sustainable development that puts people at the center, regardless of gender, age, ethnicity, creed, religion, or social status,” said Mr. Dung.

He added, “Vietnam supports the ILO’s promotion of a solidarity economy and sustainable development, and agrees that the conference should discuss the inclusion of provisions on occupational safety and health in the 1998 Declaration on principles and basic rights in the workplace.”

In addition, Vietnam is committed to joining hands with other ILO members to address the challenges of the future of work, and looks forward to continuing to receive the support of the ILO to secure decent work in an unstable world, according to Mr. Dung.
